We just got the deed for two acres that connects to our property. It's rough and we have a lot of work to do but now we won't worry about anyone buying it and living too close and my goats will have a proper pasture soon :)
Total acres 4.44!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Time to pop open the champagne!!!
Congratulations Kelly,
ReplyDeleteThat is indeed very good news !
Best wishes,
Thank you Jane! It's been stressful trying to get it but it's finally ours :)
DeleteThat is about what we have and a lot can be done on that amount of land. Of course I could use a lot more hay field and I wish it wasn't so hilly but it can provide a lot of area for food production. Happy Girl!
ReplyDeleteThis land is hilly and they let a wrecking company dump on it many years ago but most of it is just wood :) My goat herd will grow, I might get some pigs, and we are definitely going to build a pond so I can have fish and ducks :)
DeleteWell done and Congrats!
ReplyDeleteThanks K!!! I'm excited! Our goat pen was on the property line so if someone else got it we would have been rubbin' elbows :/
DeleteWoo Hoo, Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteThanks DFW!!!! I can't wait to start clearing it and have pasture for my critters. Now I can plant more fruit trees on our hilly side and not worry about the goats eating the trees :)
DeleteWhoo hoooo!!!!
ReplyDeleteSo happy for you Kelly! Now, get to work! LOL
ReplyDeleteThanks Mamma Bear! I thought about that after I posted. Pop the champagne or bust out the chainsaws lol!!!!
DeleteThat is awesome! Way to go!! Congratulations! This calls for the bubblies indeed! Oh-the planning I am sure you are going through in your mind right now on how best the land can be used for you all! What another fun adventure :)
