The reason..........

why I froze my butt off this Winter while covering these plants. They actually made it! Standing in the snow covering them up I felt like a crazy lady but tonight I will eat the fruits of my labor :)

    1. They are so good! I can't wait! My favorite veg is asparagus. Fingers crossed my chickens didn't ruin my bed it's three years old now and I had high hopes for it this year :/

  5. Kelly, That's disgusting. I won't cook or eat them. My husband waits till I'm gone to cook them for himself. Yuck!

  6. I saw a chef fixing them on TV and he cut the little stems out of the round part, kind of made a cone indent in it, he said that the stem part is what gives them an off taste.

    1. I do knick the stems with a knife. I was feeling lazy and going to skip that part tonight. Well not now! Thanks SBF!
