Sick :p
The flu is going through our house, even though we all have had flu shots we still got it! My little one brought it home from school last week. Her dad was down from Thursday night until he had to go to work on Monday and I got sick suddenly Sunday night. I'm going to strip all beds today, wash all blankies, open the windows and spray every inch of this house with Lysol. Thank you to Parsley for posting about Oscillococcinum I started taking it first thing yesterday morning and I think it's kept me from being too tired. I'm looking forward to the mail today, I hope my dozen fertile Maran eggs will be in there, I'm going to put them in the incubator right away. Regardless how I feel the animals still need me and life on the homestead is still going strong. If you haven't signed up for my giveaway the clock is ticking so hop over to that post and comment ☺

ReplyDeleteThank you Beth ☺
DeleteI just read your comment and saw this post come up on my reader. SOOOO SORRY about the flu! Ugh! I do hope you recover quickly! I'm glad the Ocillo is helping. Take care.
ReplyDeleteThank you Parsley! I think the Ocillo is lessening my symptoms and giving me energy I wouldn't have had ☺
DeleteHope you are feeling better soon, that flu is a real doozy and something I do not want to ever experience again...Hopefully you get over it quickly and get things back to normal!
ReplyDeleteThank you, it seems like alot of people have it! Stay home and you'll be safe LOL!
DeleteHope you feel better, the eggs will help take your mind off of being sick. We got some warmer weather today so I will work on some outdoor stuff this afternoon.
ReplyDeleteThanks SBF! The eggs kept me busy, enjoy your warm weather ☺
DeleteHoping the flu bug leaves your house soon! We've been very healthy I'm happy to say. I don't remember when was the last time either hubby or I had the flu. We must have some natural immunity. Even during all the years he was teaching in elementary school, he never brought anything home. (We're obviously nastier than them thar germs!!)
ReplyDeleteWOW! You guys are healthy! I can't believe he never brought any germs homes, kids are nasty little booger monsters LOL!
DeleteI feel your pain! Just getting over the bug here...it's not fun.
ReplyDeleteGlad your feeling better ☺
DeleteKelly,
ReplyDeleteOh no!!! Been there myself, I hope you're feeling better.
Make sure your drinking alot of water. Good thing to use the Lysol.
Thanks Sandy, I think this flu virus is running rampant through our state, alot of people are sick! Someone needs to crop dust this whole place with Lysol LOL!
DeleteI'm so sorry you're sick. The flu is the pits! I sure hope your eggs are there. I'm surprised they didn't come sooner. I sent them out Saturday by Priority Mail! So much for 2-3 day service...
ReplyDeleteThanks Kristin! I got the eggs yesterday morning ☺ They are beautiful!
DeleteI'm glad they got there safely! I tried to wrap them carefully but you never know what the post office will decide to do with a box that says "Fragile: Hatching Eggs".
