Still waiting :/

I have figured out that she should be due anytime between today and 36 days from today at the VERY latest :/ How's that for an estimated delivery date! I'm weary and ready to look at anything besides goat hiney. Tonight is a full moon, hopefully that will drag it out of her. Fingers crossed

    1. Thanks Sandy, this is what happens when you don't have a due date. I don't recommend it :/

  2. LOL...I really hope next time you know when the breeding takes place so this much less stress for you and the doe...I am sure she is equally as tired of you looking at her backside...lol...

  3. I feel your pain as I remember well when a buck got loose and we didn't know who he bred or if our scheduled breedings were the due dates. Longest wait on kids ever! Soon (hopefully) it will be over and you can enjoy the kids until its time to start all over again. :)

  4. Just thank God it is going to happen during the warm months. I have had does to kid both winter and spring. Spring is a whole heap less stressful. You don't have to worry about the kids not being warm enough. I bred my does for February deliveries as our weather is usually pleasant beginning February and it was on the most part and then we had a very, very nasty March with lots of freezes. Next year I am going to shoot for April births.

    1. I had crocheted a sweater in Febuary, HA! won't be needing that now. I just pray for a safe and happy delivery, I really don't care when it happens as long as all goes well ☺

At least I KNOW Onyx's due date 4/29. I'll know everyone's next year. This is CRAZY.

  7. Just a guess, but when I looked at the pic, I was thinking she still had 3-4 weeks to go. The udder change will be dramatic.
